Corry Area Small Business Micro Grant
The Corry Area Small Business Micro Grant program provides grants of up to $2,500 to businesses physically located in Erie County and within the Corry Area School District footprint with less than (25) employees. These grants require a 1:1 cash match and will be dispersed on a reimbursement basis. Grant funds may not be used to pay for work that is currently in progress or has already been completed. All grant funded projects must be completed by June 1, 2026.
The purpose of the micro grant program is to empower the Corry area’s business community, promote innovation, and strengthen the local economy by providing essential funding for business growth and operational stability.
The program is a collaboration of Impact Corry, the Corry Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Corry Higher Education Council. Funding for the program is provided through a Building Better Entrepreneurial Opportunities for Small Business grant from the Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority.
How may funds be used? Eligible uses of funds include:
Professional marketing (website development, graphic design, social media management, etc.)
Specialized equipment
Computer hardware/software
Connectivity upgrades
Professional consulting services (business plan development, financial management, etc.)
Security cameras
Structural or interior building improvements
Strategic, succession, and/or new market development planning
Who may apply for this funding? Eligible applicants are:
Businesses registered in Pennsylvania with physical addresses in the City of Corry, Elgin Borough, Union City Borough, Wayne township, Concord Township
Businesses with 25 or fewer employees
For-profit businesses
Locally-owned franchises
Businesses without City, State, or Federal delinquent taxes, fines, or outstanding violations
When are applications due? Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, with applications being reviewed and approved in the order that they are received. Once all funding has been awarded, the grant program will close.
